Use a standard crimping tool to securely crimp the Poly Crimp seal onto any crimp top vial. The Poly Crimp seal also permits an airtight seal by hand without crimping. Although the Poly Crimp seal can work with any crimp top vial, the tighter manufacturing tolerances and quality assurance program with the vials supplied by Chemglass certifies better performance when the cap is used with Chemglass supplied vials. Vials and Inserts are made with first hydrolytic, Class A, Type-N51A Clear, Borosilicate Glass. The insert has a 300ul total fill volume and a 3ul residual volume for many autosamplers and autosampler needles. The Write-On Patch and fill lines are epoxy paint and will resist smearing when working with solvents. Use with 11mm aluminum crimp caps. These lower cost Fused Insert vials have serum finish tops that provide the best seal for chromatography, when used properly with correct aluminum crimp caps.
